Braves Starter Will Be Ready for 2023 Season
He missed the entire 2022 season.
Atlanta Braves manager Alex Anthopoulos told reporters on Sunday that starter Mike Soroka will be without any restrictions next spring.
#Braves' Anthopoulos thinks that Mike Soroka, who has missed two seasons recovering from twice-torn Achilles, and reliever Kirby Yates, who missed much of 2 seasons after TJ surgery, will benefit from normal offseason (instead of constant rehab) and be "huge adds" for ATL in 2023

That's good news to hear, as Sorokas has not pitched in the majors since the 2020 campaign after tearing his Achilles tendon twice and suffering a season-ending elbow injury in late September.
The twenty-five-year-old made an immediate impact in his rookie season in 2019, where he posted a 2.68 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and 142 strikeouts over 174.2 innings.
After being out for the last two seasons, there would figure to be some sort of workload restriction but that is yet to be determined.
