Boston Red Sox Release Pitcher
The Boston Red Sox have released Eduard Bazardo.
Bazardo was designated for assignment by the Red Sox last week. Now, after clearing waivers, Boston has decided to move on from the righty entirely, and he will have the opportunity to find a new home elsewhere on the free-agent market.
There certainly could be some interest in Bazardo on the open market, as although his appearances in the MLB were limited this season, he was solid during them. In 12 games, he had a 1-0 record to go along with a 2.76 ERA. Let's see if this is enough for him to sign a contract elsewhere this offseason from here.
