Blue Jays' George Springer Has Injuries Diagnosed Following Scary Collision
George Springer and Bo Bichette collided as both attempted to catch a pop-up in shallow center field in the Toronto Blue Jays' 10-9 loss to the Seattle Mariners on Saturday.
Blue Jays manager Ross Atkins said on Tuesday that George Springer has been diagnosed with a concussion and a left shoulder sprain.

Springer sustained multiple injuries during an eight-inning collision with teammate Bo Bichette during Saturday's loss to the Seattle Mariners in Game 2 of the AL Wild Card Series.

The good news is that Springer is feeling okay and is expected to be cleared to travel soon. Concussions are obviously serious injuries, so here's to hoping that the thirty-three-year-old makes a successful recovery this offseason.
