Aaron Boone Confirms Starter Will Be Available Out of Bullpen Monday
It's a win-or-go-home game on Monday night for the New York Yankees.
That means it's all hands on deck, as the Yankees' season is on the line.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said after Sunday's win over the Cleveland Guardians that Nestor Cortes will be available out of the bullpen for Game 5 of the ALDS against Cleveland on Monday night.
Nestor Cortes is available for tomorrow’s game, Aaron Boone says. He would be coming in on short rest, though he’d be pitching in relief for Game 5.

Cortes started in Game 2, throwing 92 pitches while allowing two runs on six hits over five innings of work. The Yankees will turn to Jameson Taillon with their season on the line on Monday night, however, if he starts to struggle it'll be a short leash, as there's very little room for error in the team's most important game of the season, thus far.NESTOR CORTES WITH A GREAT PLAY TO GET HIM OUT OF THE 4TH! pic.twitter.com/0d55V4SkiD
