Twins Select Outfielder's Contract from Triple-A
The Minnesota Twins have selected the contract of Billy Hamilton from Triple-A St. Paul.
Have alluded to this and Ted has it nailed. Billy Hamilton will be a September call-up, will be with the #MNTwins starting with tomorrow’s series opener at CWS. https://t.co/dWE11tp6qK

Hamilton signed a minor league deal with the Twins last week and is now getting the call to the majors following the roster expansion on September 1st.
He'll most likely serve as a source of speed off the bench and a valuable late-inning defensive replacement for the Twins down the stretch.
Hamilton appeared in 20 games with the Miami Marlins this season, doing next to nothing at the plate but stealing seven bases. In the minors, this season, the thirty-one-year-old has hit a measly .188 batting average, with six RBIs, 13 runs scored and five stolen bases over 96 at-bats.
The Twins are currently in the hunt for a playoff spot, holding a 67-62 record, sitting three games back of the Toronto Blue Jays for the third AL Wild Card spot.
