Toronto Blue Jays Call Up Pitcher

The Toronto Blue Jays have recalled Mitch White to their major league roster.

After being pretty reliable in 15 appearances for the Los Angeles Dodgers this season, White has struggled immensely since being moved to Toronto. In eight games as a Blue Jay, he has a 0-4 record to go along with a 7.39 ERA. Yet, even with his struggles, he is now getting a chance to redeem himself and will be aiming to impress.

With the Blue Jays aiming to cement themselves a playoff spot, they will need White to be more reliable when called upon during this call-up. If he performs well, it could be what allows him to stick with the major league squad for the rest of the campaign.
