Texas Rangers Pitcher Set To Return

According to Texas Rangers interim manager Tony Beasley, the team will be activating Jon Gray for Monday's contest against the Miami Marlins.

Gray has been out since early August because of an oblique strain, but that is now set to change with this development. Although the Rangers are out of the playoff race, they will be happy to have Gray back, as he has had a good first season in Texas. In 19 appearances on the year, he has a 7-6 record to go along with a 3.83 ERA.

Gray will now be aiming to end the year on a high note and help improve his already solid stats. It will be intriguing to see how he performs from here, but it is certainly better that he is in their rotation than not.
