Texas Rangers Pitcher Begins Rehab Assignment
Texas Rangers pitcher Spencer Howard has begun a rehab assignment in Triple-A.
Howard has been out for the last month due to a shoulder injury, so it is encouraging to hear that he is feeling good enough to begin a rehab assignment. Although the Rangers are out of the playoff race, it wouldn't be a bad thing at all if the 25-year-old could make another appearance at the major league level before the year is over.
Howard's 2022 season has not been the greatest, as he has a 2-4 record to go along with a 7.41 ERA in 10 appearances. That certainly is rough to see from the former top prospect, but here's to hoping he can end the year on a high note from here.
