Texas Rangers Option Infielder
The Texas Rangers are continuing to make rosters moves. Ezequiel Duran has been sent down to Triple-A Round Round by the major league squad.
Duran has gotten into a good amount of action for the Rangers this season, appearing in 58 games as a rookie. During them, he has five home runs, 25 RBIs, and a .236 batting average. Overall, he has had some decent moments, but at the end of the day, it was not enough for him to maintain his spot on their major league roster.
Thankfully, Duran is still only 23 years old and has plenty of baseball left in him. As a result, this will not be the last time we will see him in the majors. With that, it is important to note that he has kept his spot on the team's 40-man roster, so he can be called up with ease before the end of this season. Let's see what happens with him from here.
