Texas Rangers Infielder Done For Season
Nick Solak's 2022 season is officially over, as the 27-year-old has a foot fracture.
Solak's injury was simply due to rotten luck. The utilityman fouled a ball off his foot earlier this week and, unfortunately, has not returned to the lineup. Now, given this development, we will have to wait until 2023 to see him return to action.
It is hard not to feel bad for a player when their season is taken away from them early. In Solak's case, this is even more so, as he was trying to end the year on a high note. This campaign has been a rough one for him. He's only played in 35 games with the Rangers, where he has three home runs, four RBIs, and a low .207 batting average.
Here's to hoping that Solak has a speedy recovery and is fully healthy for Spring Training.
