Tampa Bay Rays Send Pitcher Down To Triple-A
The Tampa Bay Rays have sent Josh Fleming down to Triple-A.
Fleming has appeared in nine games with the Rays, and it is fair to say that he has struggled with the major league squad. On the year, he has a 2-4 record to go along with a rough 6.23 ERA. With the Rays looking to catch the New York Yankees in the standings, they need the best roster possible, and Fleming's struggles have made him expendable because of it.
Thankfully for Fleming, he remains on the Rays' 40-man roster, so we could see him called up before the season is over. He will need to impress in Triple-A from here, however, so let's see if he can do just that.
