Seattle Mariners Call Up Outfielder

Taylor Trammell is back with the Seattle Mariners, as the 25-year-old outfielder has been called up to the major league squad.

Once a top prospect, Trammell has had trouble adjusting to the sport's most competitive league. In 41 games this season with Seattle, he has four home runs, 10 RBIs, and a low .208 batting average. Yet, he is now in a position to improve those stats, so he will be aiming to impress during this call-up.

The Mariners are trying to make the playoffs for the first time in over 20 years and currently have a three-game lead over the Baltimore Orioles for the final Wild Card spot. We will need to see if Trammell can make an impact and help expand that lead from here.
