Neither player—Randy Arozarena, Yandy Diaz—was in the lineup for Tuesday's game after the reported incident. Manager Kevin Cash acknowledged that the incident was part of the reason they sat out Tuesday.
Arozarena admitted getting into a disagreement, but has disputed the report from Tampa Bay sports radio's Zac Blobner that they came to blows or anything close.
#Rays Arozarena said there were “a couple little things” he and Diaz “had to talk about,” that there was no physical contact and they have talked since and “are really good right now.”

Arozarena said he and Diaz had words over “a couple of little things” after Monday’s loss to the Astros, according to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times. But there was “nothing physical” said Arozarena and they have since resolved their issues. Cash agreed, saying that “I’m very confident we’re past everything.”
This all comes as the Rays are in the middle of a rough stretch, having lost three straight, and six of their last nine games, leaving them two games back of the Toronto Blue Jays for the first Wild Card spot. Those two teams open a critical 4-game set at The Trop Thursday night.
