The twenty-three-year-old is the ultimate utility player, seeing action at second base, third base, shortstop, center field and left field.
Bae has slashed .289/.362/.430, with eight home runs, 53 RBIs, 30 stolen bases and 81 runs scored across 108 games played at the Triple-A level this season.
He'll likely receive regular playing time for the last bit of games this season and will hope to help cement himself a spot on the Pirates' 2023 Opening Day roster.
