Philadelphia Phillies Pitcher Placed on Injured List

The Philadelphia Phillies will be without Brad Hand, as the veteran reliever has been placed on the 15-day injured list.

Hand has had a solid season for the Phillies this year, so his absence will be noted. In 55 games, he sports a 3-2 record to go along with a strong 2.80 ERA. With that, he also has recorded five saves, so he has simply been a good addition to their bullpen. Now, as the Phillies aim to cement themselves in a playoff spot, they will be without him.
