They optioned Bruce Zimmermann and Nick Vespi. This is Vespi's fifth and final option of the season, meaning he'll have to go through waivers if there's a next time.
Vespi has posted a middling 4.21 ERA, a 1.36 WHIP and 28 strikeouts over 25.2 innings of work in the majors this season. He has five wins and has converted one save.
We'll most likely see him back with the Orioles at some point this month.

The Orioles have also optioned pitcher Bruce Zimmermann. Zimmermann saved the Orioles from having to use a lot of arms yesterday after starter Jordan Lyles was scratched due to illness. However, it didn't go so well, as Zimmermann allowed eight hits, five earned runs and one walk while striking out three over six innings.
On the season, the twenty-seven-year-old holds a lackluster 5.99 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 49 strikeouts over 73.2 innings of work. He'll wait for his next opportunity in the majors.
