New York Yankees Send Pitcher Back Down To Triple-A
Deivi Garcia was just called up to the New York Yankees, but he has once again been sent down to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Garcia did not get into any action during his call-up, which is certainly disappointing for the 22-year-old. However, all hope is not lost, as he is still a member of their 40-man roster. Due to this, the possibility of him receiving another call-up before the season is over is certainly there, as it would be an easy task for the Yankees.
In eight career games over the last two seasons, Garcia has a 3-4 record to go along with a 5.27 ERA. Overall, he has had some struggles at the major league level, but here's to hoping that he has a chance to improve these numbers before the year is over.
