New York Yankees Release Pitcher

Earlier this week, the New York Yankees designated Ryan Weber for assignment. Now, the pitcher has cleared waivers and has been released by the team. 

We should not rule out the possibility of Weber re-signing with the Yankees, though. He has been released by the team and then re-signed with them already this season. Thus, we could see history repeat itself. 

Weber has been very good with the Yankees when called up. However, it has not happened very often, as he only has made five appearances this campaign, where he has an excellent 0.84 ERA. We will need to see if this is enough for another team to sign him before the season is over.
