New York Yankees Infielder to Return Soon
While speaking with the media, New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that the team could activate DJ Lemahieu on Wednesday.
Even if the Yankees do not activate LeMahieu from the IL on Wednesday, it is clear that he is very close to returning regardless. This is big news for a Yankees team who is preparing for the playoffs. The All-Star infielder is a big contributor to their offense, so they of course want to have him healthy for their World Series push.
In 120 games this season, he has 12 home runs, 46 RBIs, and a .262 batting average. It will be intriguing to see what day he officially comes back but expect it very shortly.
