New York Yankees Activate First Baseman

The New York Yankees are getting a big boost. Anthony Rizzo has been activated off of the injured list and is ready to return to the lineup.

The Yankees are looking to cement their AL East division win, and getting Rizzo back should help them with that. The 32-year-old has been one of the Yankees' top power hitters this season, and the truth is in his stats. In 117 games, he has 30 home runs to go along with 71 RBIs. He has struggled to hit for contact a bit, though, which his .225 batting average displays.

The Yankees will certainly be happy to have Rizzo's power back in the lineup during this final stretch of the season. Let's see how much of an impact he makes from here.
