New York Mets Pitcher Placed On Injured List

The New York Mets have placed Bryce Montes de Oca on the 15-day injured due to hamstring tightness.

Montes de Oca was recently called up to the Mets, so it is rough to see that he already has to miss time. The 26-year-old has had some struggles since the call-up, as he has allowed four earned runs in 3.1 innings pitched, which equates to a 10.80 ERA. Yet, he also has struck out six batters, so there have been positive moments in his appearances.

Here's to hoping that Montes de Oca can return as soon as this stint on the 15-day IL is over. We will have to wait and see what happens on that front.
