Minnesota Twins Outright Pitcher
Earlier this week, the Minnesota Twins designated Jake Jewell for assignment. Now, the 29-year-old has cleared waivers and has been outrighted to Triple-A St. Paul.
However, at the time of this writing, it has not been announced whether or not Jewell has accepted the assignment. Due to the fact that he has already been outrighted this campaign, he has the option to elect free agency instead.
Jewell has been on the move a lot this season, but he also has yet to appear in the majors. After several DFAs, it will be intriguing to see if he decides just to stay in the Twins' system.
In 31 career MLB games, he has a 0-3 record and 7.75 ERA.
