Minnesota Twins Designate Pitcher For Assignment
Last month, the Minnesota Twins claimed Jake Jewell off waivers. Unfortunately for the right-hander, he now has been designated for assignment before getting the opportunity to make his debut for the team.

This has become a very common trend for Jewell this season, as he had found new homes several times this campaign alone. Now that he is hitting the waiver wire again, there's a chance that another team could elect to bring him in for some pitching depth.
Jewell has yet to make his season debut in the majors. In 31 career games over three MLB seasons between the Los Angeles Angels and Chicago Cubs, he has a 0-3 record and 7.75 ERA. Let's see if another team ends up claiming him.
