Milwaukee Brewers Pitcher Heading Back To Injured List

Milwaukee Brewers manager Craig Counsell told reporters that Freddy Peralta is likely heading to the 15-day injured list due to shoulder fatigue.

With the Brewers looking to cement themselves a playoff spot, this is certainly not good news. Peralta is an All-Star-caliber starter when he is healthy, so his absence will certainly be noted.

Peralta has dealt with injury trouble this season and has only appeared in 15 games because of it. During them, he has a 4-3 record to go along with a 3,45. Overall, he has once again been effective this season, but injuries have not allowed him to appear as frequently as both he and the team would want him to.
