Milwaukee Brewers Option Outfielder

The Milwaukee Brewers have sent down Esteury Ruiz to Triple-A Nashville.

Ruiz was recently called up to the Brewers at the beginning of September, but he is now already heading back to Nashville. During his call-up, he appeared in three games with the Brew Crew, where he went 0-for-8 at the plate. Overall, he did not make much of an impact in the bigs, so perhaps this demotion could have been predicted.

Thankfully for Ruiz, he remains on the Brewers' 40-man roster, so there is a chance that we could see him called up again before the season is over. He will need to impress while with Nashville for this to have any chance of occurring, but alas, we will need to see what happens on that front from here.
