Miami Marlins Designate Pitcher For Assignment

The Miami Marlins have designated Jake Fishman for assignment.

Fishman has appeared in two games for the Marlins during his recent call-up. During them, he did fairly well, as he allowed just one run in 4.1 innings pitched. However, that wasn't enough for him to maintain his spot on their 40-man roster. Now he is heading to the waiver wire because of it.
