Mets Activate Pitcher from Injured List
The New York Mets are getting a reliable bullpen arm back.
The team has activated pitcher Drew Smith from the 15-day injured list.

Smith joins the Mets' bullpen in the middle of the team's series against the Milwaukee Brewers.
The twenty-eight-year-old has posted a solid 3.51 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and 47 strikeouts over 41 innings. He has a 2-3 record over 37 relief appearances.

Smith has been out since late July after suffering a right lat strain. Over four seasons in the majors, all with the Mets, Smith holds a strong 3.30 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and 113 strikeouts across 117 innings.
He is a former 3rd-round pick by the Detroit Tigers in the 2015 MLB Draft.
