The Seattle Mariners are recalling outfielder Taylor Trammell from Triple-A Tacoma.
Trammell is one of two September 1st callups by the Mariners on Thursday, Matthew Boyd being the other one.

The twenty-four-year-old has only appeared in 32 major league games this season, slashing a decent .235/.323/.457, with three home runs, nine RBIs and two stolen bases.
At the minor league level this season, however, Trammell has been performing excellently, batting a .333 average and a phenomenal .408 on-base percentage. He's hit five home runs, 12 RBIs and eight stolen bases across 87 at-bats.

Taylor Trammell is a very nice blend of speed and power and, with his ability to play all three outfield positions, he will be a welcome addition to a Mariners team looking to lock down a playoff berth.
