Los Angeles Dodgers Sign Pitcher
The Los Angeles Dodgers have added to their pitching depth, as they have inked Keone Kela to a minor league contract.
Kela will be hoping to make his major league season debut before the year is over with the Dodgers. Before this campaign, he made appearances at the major league level in his seven previous seasons. Now, he will be gunning to change that to eight before September officially passes.
Ultimately, there's no harm in the Dodgers giving Kela a look. They are dealing with some injuries to their pitchers, with David Price being the most recent example. Perhaps Kela could find his way onto their roster - whether he's a starter or reliever.
In 243 career MLB games, Kela has a 23-13 record and 3.33 ERA.
