Los Angeles Dodgers Reliever Placed On IL

The Los Angeles Dodgers will be without Blake Treinen for the next two weeks at least, as the veteran reliever has been placed on the 15-day injured list with shoulder tightness.

With the Dodgers preparing for the playoffs, it is wise for them to rest Treinen. The hope is that he will be 100% ready to go by the postseason, as he is known as being one of their most dependable relievers.

Treinen has dealt with shoulder problems all season and has only made five appearances on the year because of it. Yet, he has been excellent when called upon, as his 1.80 ERA shows effectively. Both the Dodgers and Treinen will be hoping that he's good to go by the playoffs, as he makes their bullpen far better when healthy.
