Los Angeles Dodgers Pitcher Inching Closer to Return

According to Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, Yency Almonte could be activated from the 10-day injured list during the club's upcoming series against the San Diego Padres.

Almonte being ready to return is big for the Dodgers. Before his injury, he was one of the top relievers on the team he had this campaign, and now he is set to come back before the playoffs begin. Needless to say, this is excellent news for a Dodgers team that is looking to win the World Series.

In 29 games this season, Almonte sports an excellent 1.15 ERA. If he can keep this kind of stuff up from here, the Dodgers will only become more dangerous as the league's best team.
