Los Angeles Angels Pitcher Set To Return
According to J.P. Hoornstra, Los Angeles Angels pitcher Michael Lorenzen is set to make his next start with the major league squad.
Lorenzen has been on a rehab assignment, but it appears that he has made enough progress to return to the mound. This is excellent to hear, as the eight-year veteran has been out since early July due to a shoulder strain. With it being so late into the season, there was speculation that Lorenzen may be done for the year, but now this development proves otherwise.
Lorenzen will be aiming to end the year on a high note. His 2022 season hasn't been the strongest, as he sports a 6-6 record to go along with a 4.94 ERA. Let's see if he can improve upon his stats during this final stretch of games.
