Los Angeles Angels Activate Veteran Catcher

The Los Angeles Angels have activated Kurt Suzuki from the bereavement list.

Although the Angels are out of the playoff picture entirely, it is nice to see that Suzuki is ready to return to action for them. He has been praised for being a solid leader and comes with immense experience. As a result, it is better to have him around than not.

At this point of his career, Suzuki is no longer an All-Star catcher, and the truth is in his stats. In 48 games this season, he has four home runs, 14 RBIs, and a very low .179 batting average. The 38-year-old will be aiming to end the year on a high note, as it could be what helps him land another MLB contract in 2023.
