Kansas City Royals Call Up Pitcher

The Kansas City Royals have called up Daniel Mengden to their major league roster.

Mengden is expected to start Thursday's contest against the Chicago White Sox. When called up this season, Mengden has performed well for the Royals, as his 2.08 ERA in four appearances shows effectively. He will be aiming to keep this up from here.

In 64 career games, Mengden sports a 17-20 record to go along with a 4.60 ERA.
