Giants Recall Two Players

The San Francisco Giants have recalled players Sean Hjelle and Heliot Ramos.

The Giants have recalled pitcher Sean Hjelle from Triple-A Sacramento. 

The twenty-five-year-old has posted a 5.73 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 15 strikeouts over 11 innings in his major league debut this season. He'll likely pitch in relief this weekend against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Giants have recalled outfielder Heliot Ramos from Triple-A Sacramento. 

The twenty-three-year-old has struggled in the minors this season, slashing just .223/.303/.333, with nine home runs over 445 plate appearances. He is a former Top-100 prospect, however, and the Giants feel he's worthy of another chance. 

Ramos is batting ninth on Saturday against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
