Giants Option Pitcher
It was a pretty brief major league debut for him.
The San Francisco Giants have optioned pitcher Cole Waites to Triple-A Sacramento.
Waites made his major league debut back on September 13th, throwing a scoreless inning against the Atlanta Braves.

He threw 4.1 innings in his time in the majors, posting a 2.08 ERA, 2.08 WHIP, and three strikeouts.
The twenty-four-year-old has been phenomenal in the minor leagues this year, registering a sparkling 1.99 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, with an insane 75 strikeouts over 40 innings. He's made 37 relief appearances, converted six saves, and has a 4-3 record.
There's a good chance we see Cole Waites make the Giants 2023 Opening Day roster. Until then, he'll head back down to the minors.
