D-Backs Call Up Pitcher
The Arizona Diamondbacks have recalled pitcher Tyler Holton from Triple-A Reno.
Holton takes the place of injured starter Ryne Nelson on the team's active roster.

Holton has only pitched nine innings at the major league level this season, posting a serviceable 3.00 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and six strikeouts. He's made 10 appearances with the D-Backs this season.
He'll likely work in the middle innings.
