Colorado Rockies Star Done For Season
According to Thomas Harding, Colorado Rockies star Kris Bryant will not return to the field in 2022.
Bryant has been out of the lineup since late July due to foot injuries. Thus, with the Rockies out of the playoff picture entirely, it's fair to say that this development is not the most surprising. There's no real need for Bryant to risk further injury at this juncture of the campaign, so it makes sense for him to rest up for 2023 instead.
Bryant's first season as a Rockie saw him play just 42 games, but he did fairly well at the plate during them. He had a very good .306 batting average, but at the same time, his power numbers were noticeably down. He had just five home runs on the year and failed to hit a single homer at Coors Field.
That's a wrap for Kris Bryant in 2022.

As we all thought would be the case, he did not hit a home run at Coors Field in his first season with the Rockies.
Needless to say, he will be aiming to change that next season.
