Cincinnati Reds Outfielder Done For Season
Nick Senzel's 2022 season is ending early, as the 27-year-old has fractured his toe.
It is certainly a rough way for Senzel's campaign to end. He appeared in a career-high 110 games this campaign, where he had five home runs, 25 RBIs, and a .231 batting average. That is where his stats will end this season, but he will be aiming to have a bigger year with the Reds in 2023.
With the Reds being completely out of playoff contention, it isn't the end of the world that they have lost Senzel for the rest of the year. Yet, it is never a good thing to see a player's season end, and we hope that Senzel has a speedy recovery from here.
