Chicago White Sox Catcher Placed on Concussion List
The Chicago White Sox have placed Seby Zavala on the seven-day concussion list.
Given the fact that the White Sox are out of the playoff race and Zavala is dealing with a head injury, it seems likely that we have seen his last game of the season. In 61 games this season, he has two home runs, 21 RBIs, and a .270 batting average. Overall, it was a fairly solid year for him at the plate, but it is likely where his stats will end.
Zavala will be aiming to continue this kind of production at the plate in 2023 with the White Sox. Here's to hoping he has a speedy recovery from here, as head injuries are no joke.
