Chicago Cubs Reinstate Outfielder

The Chicago Cubs are getting a boost to their lineup, as Michael Hermosillo has been reinstated from the 60-day injured list.

Hermosillo has only appeared in 17 games with the Cubs this season due to injury, where he has gone 2-for 2-for-28 at the plate. Yes, it is fair to say that he has struggled noticeably, but he is now healthy and has the chance to end the year on a strong note. That is all Cub fans can truly ask for from the 27-year-old outfielder.

With the Cubs out of the playoff race, it wouldn't be a bad thing for them to give Hermosillo some chances as we inch closer to the end of the season. We will have to wait and see how often he is utilized from here.
