Brewers Option Starter
Back to the minors once again.
The Milwaukee Brewers have optioned starter Jason Alexander to Triple-A Nashville.
RHP Trevor Gott reinstated from the 15-day injured list.

In a spot start on Sunday against the New York Yankees, Alexander allowed three runs on six hits and a walk over 3.2 innings of work.
The twenty-nine-year-old has pitched 71 innings for the Brewers this season, posting an underwhelming 5.40 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 46 strikeouts. In 18 appearances, he's made 11 starts and holds a 2-3 record.
