Boston Red Sox Activate Infielder
The Boston Red Sox have activated recently acquired Yu Chang.
The Red Sox claimed Chang from the Tampa Bay Rays earlier this week, and he will now be aiming to leave a good impression with Boston to end the year. If he does, he certainly will be in the mix to make their roster in 2023. A former top prospect, Chang has the potential to be a decent utility player for the Red Sox, as he can play first base, third base, and second base if needed.
Chang has been on the move often this season, as he has had stints with the Cleveland Guardians, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Rays already. In 40 games on the year, he has four home runs, 14 RBIs, and a .236 batting average. Now, he is officially joining his fourth team in 2022 with the Red Sox. Let's see how he does in Beantown from here.
