Blue Jays Recall Top-Ranked Prospect
The Toronto Blue Jays are bringing their top-ranked prospect back up to the majors.
The Jays have recalled catcher Gabriel Moreno from Triple-A Buffalo.

Moreno returns to provide an extra bat off the bench while Teoscar Hernandez is on the paternity list.
In his first 60 major league plate appearances, the twenty-two-year-old hit .276/.300/.293, with no home runs, four RBIs and a 7/2 K/BB ratio.

Moreno has hit a very strong .315/.386/.420, with three home runs 39 RBIs, seven stolen bases and 35 runs scored over 62 games at the Triple-A level this season.
He is the Blue Jays top-ranked prospect and the seventh-ranked prospect in all of baseball.
