Blue Jays Recall Pitcher
There's a new face joining the Toronto Blue Jays' active roster.
The Blue Jays have recalled pitcher Foster Griffin from Triple-A Buffalo.

Griffin was acquired from the Kansas City Royals a few months ago and will join the Blue Jays bullpen on Wednesday against the Philadelphia Phillies.
In six career innings at the major league level, Griffin has allowed six earned runs. The twenty-seven-year-old has registered a very strong 2.01 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 55 strikeouts over 49 innings at the minor league level this season. In 37 appearances, Griffin has a 6-0 record and has converted one save.

The twenty-seven-year-old holds a career 4.54 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP across 809 innings pitched in the minors. Foster Griffin is a former 1st-round pick (28th overall) by the Royals in the 2014 MLB Draft.
