2 Philadelphia Phillies Pitchers Set To Return
The Philadelphia Phillies are aiming to cement themselves a playoff spot. They are receiving some good news to help on that front, as both Seranthony Dominguez and Zach Eflin will be activated from the injured list this week.
Dominguez will be joining the club for Sunday's game against the Washington Nationals. His return is something that the Phillies will be very excited about, as he has been the club's best reliever in 2022. The truth is in his stats. In 46 games on the season, he has a 6-4 record to go along with a very impressive 1.64 ERA. He will be aiming to keep that reliability going for the rest of the campaign.
Eflin's return is very notable, as he has missed a big portion of the season. Due to this, he is expected to return to the roster as a reliever rather than a starter. In 13 games this season for the Phillies, he has a 3-5 record and 4.37 ERA.
