White Sox Option Two Players
The Chicago White Sox have optioned pitcher Tanner Banks to Triple-A Charlotte.
Banks only made three appearances in his latest stay in the majors, but on the season has been a very effective pitcher for the club, posting a 3.26 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 40 strikeouts over 47 innings.
The thirty-year-old rookie is a former 18th-round pick by the Chicago White Sox in the 2014 MLB Draft.
Catcher Carlos Perez has also been optioned to Triple-A Charlotte.

The twenty-five-year-old rookie made his major league debut this past week, going one-for-four in two games played.
In the minors this season, Perez has slashed a respectable .257/.319/.765, with 17 home runs, 63 RBIs and two stolen bases over 350 at-bats.
