Washington Nationals Pitcher Inching Closer To Team Debut
The Washington Nationals may not have to wait too long to see MacKenzie Gore make his debut for the team. Manager Dave Martinez told reporters that Gore will resume throwing this Friday.
Gore has been out since late July due to elbow soreness, but it appears the rest has been doing him good. If things continue to go well when he begins throwing, we shouldn't have to wait much longer to see him return to the mound.
Gore is viewed as one of the top prospects in all of baseball, so eyes will be on him once he begins pitching for the Nationals. In 16 games this season with the San Diego Padres, he had a 3-3 record and 4.50 ERA.
