Canha launched his bat high into the air, and spread his arms wide as he rounded first base. It came on what was the go-ahead blast in the top of the 9th inning.

Canha had already hit a 3-run shot a couple of innings earlier to tie the game at 7, in an epic, see-saw battle. He wasn't about to let the joy of the situation pass by.
“We come out and we expect to win every day,” Canha said. “If we go down four runs in the first inning, we still expect to win until the game is over. That's what winners are made of.”
And hey, even the Phillies broadcast crew was impressed.
“Oh no, he’s homered again and what a bat flip.”

With the win, the Mets increased their lead on Atlanta in the NL East to four games, while the Phillies dropped to the 3rd Wild Card spot.
