Video: Edwin Encarnacion’s Son Hits Slam, Walks The Parrot!
His dad blasted 424 career home runs, and was known for "walking the parrot" around the bases on his HR trot — holding one forearm up in the air.
Now, his 13-year-old son is a pretty good ballplayer in his own right, and we have video today of Edwin Jr. blasting a grand slam, and, yes of course, doing the Parrot celebration around the bases.

Another angle as he rounds the bases shows the parrot walk more clearly:

Junior adds in a bat toss and a little dance to get his trot started, just for extra effect.
This isn't something new though, as Edwin Jr. has been spotted with his parrot before.
Just like dad. 🤗

Edwin Sr. was a 3-time All-Star, and one of the top home run hitters in baseball during the previous decade, and none bigger than his Wild Card-game-winning blast for the Toronto Blue Jays over the Baltimore Orioles in 2016.
